Friendships are Golden

Tomorrow is going to be a hard day for Willa as her neighborhood best friend is moving. These two spend almost every moment together. Willa greets Ella on her way home from school, they play until dinner, they eat dinner together at one house (sometimes second dinner at the other) and then there's all the weekend activities and many sleepovers. Although she's not moving far, there's nothing like being just across the street. Thankfully they will still be able to see each other often!

Mother's Day!

What a busy Mother's Day! So grateful for our two girls, for their birth and foster families, and for my mom!

 

Llama Love

Because the girls have a nanny, it doesn't make sense for them to do a lot of summer camps. Instead, we have them choose a membership to a museum, zoo, etc. This summer, they are choosing to lease llamas! Meet Herman (Jia) and Willow (Willa). The girls will visit them on their farm regularly to walk, hug, feed, and groom them. They can also spend time with any of the other llamas (they are especially in love with the babies and yearlings). I think it'll be a great experience - and our awesome nanny is as excited as they are!

 

Como Zoo

Nothing better than Como with a friend. Highlight: Watching a baby ape play with his mom by putting straw on her head and then excitedly beat his chest.

Not quite warm enough, but always enjoyable.
