Legos

From the zombie apocalypse to military dioramas to local landmarks (First Ave, Nye's Polonaise Room, Bob's Java Hut...), people have made it with Legos.

Willa Merch!

So much fun to be shopping at Target today and hear Willa exclaim, "Hey, that's me!" Indeed, she was on a bunch of toy boxes! She filled in last second for a friend at a modeling job once and then we forgot about it. Of course, we bought the toy with the most pictures of her on it!

Birthday Party Project

We have been volunteering regularly at the Birthday Party Project, an organization which throws monthly birthday parties for kids in shelters. We all loved doing crafts with the kids, chatting with their moms, taking photo prop pics, and handing out cupcakes and party favors. The birthday girl tonight was turning 5. She was the most appreciative gift recipient I've ever met with a non-stop: "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I'M SO HAPPY! THANK YOU!" Seeing her pure joy was tremendous. The girls are insisting that we volunteer at every party.

Halloween

Halloween: These two - and their dolls - have been planning their costumes for a VERY long time. ❤️❤️

We also dressed up this year. I won a costume contest at work as Taco Belle!

The girls had fun with friends on Halloween night:

Games

We played "Would You Rather" at dinner. The question was, "Would you rather lick 1,000 stamps or lick a 10 foot strip of a New York city street?"

Willa: "Lick a stamp? Why would anyone lick a stamp? I don't get it!"

Jia made our family and house in her Sims game and then tracked our movements. Apparently all we do is hug, play video games, eat PB & J sandwiches, and chat. Ha!
