Where were we? The State Fair of course!

Close up of the slide...

The slide and the corn were definitely the highlights. The slide elicited shrieks of "More! More!" and a dedicated effort to try to climb back up.

And the corn, well, it inspired her to not only yell, "Happy!" but also to say "I love you, Mama! I love you, Baba!"

Yes, we had fun.

That ALL looks like a blast. Claire loves corn as well....sometimes I think she could eat corn all day everyday.

XX (Joss), too, loves her corn, even though she's still minus a bunch of top teeth, except for those front middles and her upper molars! It looks like you all had a wonderful day, topped off with the "I love you"s. Magic! We're still waiting for our firsts - I actually can't imagine she has the articulation to even say that yet. :-( But she's chirping up a storm, and there are lots of kisses so I suppose it's just a matter of time. You've really given me something to look forward to!

Oh sweet Jia - her smile says it all! Looks like you had a fun day, we may be going too - you sure have made me want to. It's amazing how different it looks seeing it through the eyes of a child. Thanks for sharing the photos.
