No hugging here

We had planned to go on a playdate the other day after nap. As soon as Jia woke up, she said, "Now we can go to Lily's house! They have hugging there!"

At first blush, it would appear that we, sadly, don't have hugging here. Those who know Lily, however, know about her generous hugs. Apparently her effusive nature has made a big impression on Jia!

Hi Jane,
Jia is such a bright, young girl. I bet you can't wait to hear what she says next! Thanks for stopping by our blog. It's so nice to "meet" you. In response to your question, I do most of my bow shopping at a local children's boutique. It's not a chain, so that wouldn't help, but most of what I buy are the medium to large size Wee Ones bows and you can easily find them online. They hold up well and have great colors. (wwww.weeones.com is the primary site, although you can Google Wee Ones bows and find a much larger selection in other stores; probably past seasons). I have even thrown them in the wash before. I also buy a lot at Cookie Cutters (a child's hair salon chain. Those are generally locally made. I'm not sure how widespread a chain they are), and I like the ribbon clips at Gymboree. I tend to buy those to match outfits bought there. I'd say those are my "Big 3". Happy Shopping!

sounds like Lily and Annslee (known as the hugger) should get together. Oh how I would LOVE to have Annslee give Jia a BIG hug : )
