Never Before Seen

A rare moment of peace in our house. So rare that I photographed it.

We got nearly a foot of snow on Friday. We are tiring of winter and needed some outdoor fun. I filled an old shampoo bottle with pink water and Jia had a blast making the snow pink (with a little Brilliant Brunette thrown in for good measure).

I love those moments!!
Great idea to make the snow pink, too. May have to give it a try over here.

Ahhh... a moment of silence, of two small children entertaining each other with a book. How sweet.

Love the idea of coloring the snow. What a fun idea!

WHAT?? BOTH of them on the couch reading... at the SAME TIME?? Unheard of! Good thing you took a picture, or I might not have believed you. :)

We are tiring of winter, too. No snow right now, but it's as cold as the Arctic out there. Come on spring!

Oh please send some of that magic "quiet" dust over this way!

Adorable, amazing and spectacular!

That is just the cutest picture!!! Look at those two aspiring scholars. I LOVE that you got it on film :-) Ahhhhh, peace sounds good right now.

Eiley has been doing some reading lately...on the potty. I'll have to get a picture of that, won't I?

A moment of quiet, I have one word "HEAVEN"!

I bet you are ready for some warmer weather? At least you are making the snow fun. Way to go creative Mommy!
