Here was my conversation with Jia tonight at dinner:
Me: Jia, if you could be any animal, which one would you be?
Jia: A zookeeper.
Me: Well, if you HAD to be an animal, which one would you choose?
Jia: A hippo.
Me: Why?
Jia: Because then I would be BIG!
Me: You don't need to be in a hurry to grow up.
Jia: But I'm growing up right now!
Me: Oh, I wish you could stay just the way you are. [Gives kiss] My little baby.
Jia: Mama, I'll always be your little baby. {pause} Mama, you look sad. Let me give you a hug. [Gives hug.]

So sweet, and so intuitive. Your girls are adorable and it sounds like life with Jia is one laugh after another. I wish you could post your photo session proofs -- I'd love to see the "Your Invited" expression:)
Jia's wise beyond her years... and brings me to tears.
Children are way tooo wise-look out-she will only keep getting more wise-and then you will really have trouble-
they are just soooo precious when they know just the right things to say
