On Saturday, we saw the Yogi Bear movie and the girls went on a train ride.
That night our friends treated us to an extraordinarily yummy dinner at a Nepalese restaurant. As Willa proclaimed, "This food is DEEEE-licious!"On Sunday, we went swimming at my parents' condo along with my sister's family. We all had a great time. Then we went home and made rice krispie snowmen!

I also had the girls chop up all the chocolate candy bars we'd acquired over the various holidays so we could make rice krispie bar surprise! The result: tasty.
Today, Susie and Han came over with Han's new doughnut maker!
They had a terrific time decorating them:
The girls and I also did a lot of outdoor playing today because the temp was finally in the teens! My snow angels:

We made a large snow nest!
Complete with its own food supply!
I also pulled the girls around the neighborhood on the sled. Some of the sidewalk passages were narrow!
They pulled each other too!
What a great weekend!

Now that is what you call snow. It so brings me back to my days living in NH. I would have to shovel out tunnels and pathways for the dogs. lol Maggie spent her first few winters there and I loved the sledding. Fun! Glad you had so much fun in the winter weather.
Wow...that's a LOT of snow! Adorable pictures. And the little rice krispy snowman is just adorable!
Much love,

i've said it before and i'll say it again -- you are such a great mom jane!! i have completely lost motivation to do fun snow stuff this year ..... sigh. and building snowmen has been impossible since december, the snow is either too hard or too fluffy. we might have to try the krispy guys over here ....
FUN pics!
Love all of the snow pictures! So much fun for the girls! Those rice krispies snowmen were adorable.
the rice krispie snowmen are adorable!!! You guys have a TON of snow!!! I don't want THAT much, but I'd love to have a bit more than what we've gotten....oh well, maybe next year!!!
OMG, it really is cold there! I can not imagine pulling kids to and fro the bus stop on a sled! Hilarious! Hey, at least you don't need to pay gym fees. LOL!
