We are tired, but more so, we are peaceful. We are full. We are happy. We have had two terrific days with family. The pictures tell (most of) the story.

Our tradition on Christmas Eve night is to give the girls matching pj's and open family gifts. This year it was Connect 4 and Operation. Wow, it's very clear we need a lot of practice before we do any surgeries!Christmas Day:

Jia received the gift she's been dreaming of for a long time:
Willa had asked me to buy her a mermaid swimsuit. I could not find any, so I decided to make the girls slip-on mermaid tails out of swimsuit material. Willa wore hers all morning, even over her clothing when we walked Peanut. I'm thrilled that they love them.
We hosted everyone at our place on Christmas day (for the first time)!
Our day was certainly merry and bright! Hope yours was too!

What a wonderful Christmas you all had! And how talented and creative you are - great idea with the mermaid outfit! Merry Christmas! btw, my blog is being worked on again after a very long hiatus. I love those mermaid outfits. You are too talented! I love the tradition of wearing matching PJs. We're trying to think of fun things to do with Lexie also, so you always give me great ideas!

Crafty! Love the mermaid suits. Great. I can see why they love them too. Looks like a wonderful Christmas. Love the tiny baby....soooo cute. The girls are adorable in there matching pjs.
