Fun in Duluth!

We went up to Duluth on Lake Superior again this year with my family. We had a terrific time. We spent the first night at our favorite water park up there - Edgewater. The girls braved the biggest tube waterslide this time and they both loved it!

The following day, we spent the morning at the waterpark, and then went on the Timber Twister Alpine Coaster at Spirit Mountain. You ride in individual cars and can go as fast as you want down the mountain. About halfway down, you are presented with a spectacular view of Lake Superior and Duluth harbor. IT WAS AWESOME! We ended up buying more rides than we anticipated. Everyone went on it, and it was the highlight of the trip!

We then switched to another hotel in the Canal Park area. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. We ate a delicious dinner that night at the new Canal Park Brewery, and celebrated my parents' 46th wedding anniversary!

That evening we pedaled around the harbor in a surrey with fringe on top!

The next day we visited the Great Lakes Aquarium. The kids loved all the animals, the play area, and moving ships through the locks!

Afterward, people did some shopping, and later we raced to see a huge ore boat go under the lift bridge. That night we all ate at Angie's Cantina, along with some family friends. We were a big group!

The following morning we enjoyed a visit to the Maritime Museum.
