We are still beyond furious with our federal immigration agencies. I have tried an additional 15 ways to contact the agencies (making it a total of about 45 times.) I have received nothing but bad news as of late. They're still not doing anything. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Soooo, to cheer us up, I thought I would post some funny things Jia has recently said.
When Joe was out of town last week, Jia pretended to call him. She said rapid-fire: "Hi Bobby! Are you tired? A little bit sick? Had a bad day?"
I had to laugh because she calls him "Bobby" exclusively now. Also, I don't think we've ever spouted such a litany of unfortunate situations before. (Maybe she's describing how I'm feeling?)
Another Jia-ism: Every night at dinner we ask each other the following: What did you like about your day? What did you not like? What are you thankful for?
It's something I heard about from a few other families and I really appreciate the communication it brings. Every night we ask Jia these questions and she always gives us interesting answers. Sometimes they make sense, sometimes they're more creative. But without fail, to one of the questions (and it changes which one), she will always respond, "PASTA!"

Jane,
So glad you are able to see some sunshine through the grey clouds the last couple days.
I am so sorry this is continuing for you-I think I will call OUR congressman on Monday, and see if there is anything we can do here in Wis-since we just went through this, I so feel for you.
I know your hearts are heavy-but-you do have a daughter waiting for you-and that is the most important thing-she IS YOURS!!
Hugs and prayers
Chris
