She is used to a heavy blanket on her in order to fall asleep.
She will only fall asleep if she pulls said heavy blanket over her head. (Ugh!)
She is highly interested in eating something other than formula. If she's on our lap when we're eating, she follows every bite up to our mouth, wide-eyed and trembles with excitement if she thinks it's coming her way.
When Willa babbles she sometimes includes the word "Mama" in her dialog. Very fun to hear.
If Willa gets frustrated about things like too much tummy time or dropping a toy, she starts to huff and puff and snort!
And, she likes to read!!!
I'm thrilled that both our girls like books thus far.And a side note about Jia: She has been just incredible with her sister. She makes sure Willa's feet are covered when she sleeping, she runs to get us things for Willa all the time and she kisses her ever-so-sweetly. Before Willa joined our family, Jia was very concerned about Willa taking her toys so we designated some of them (mainly her baby dolls) as "special" and "not for sharing." Today, Jia, on her own, decided that she wanted to share each and every one of these toys with Willa. It was truly a gesture of love.
Another side note not really about anyone: Jia and I got all ready to go on our first spring bike ride only to find that our arch-nemesis, the red squirrel, had eaten my helmet! It ate the inside part and the rubber attachment for the straps!

What a sweet little baby, and a kind and generous big sister.
What a VERY sweet picture of mom and girls! So, very, very sweet!!
That is a story that Jia will enjoy hearing again when she is older--the one about her sharing all her special toys . . . the only one I hear repeated about my little sister coming home is how I bit her in jealously. :) This one is much better!
Ha Ha Ha, the squirrel returns!
What two sweet girls you have!
I love the mirror picture of Willa a few posts down!
Aw that picture is so sweet!!!
It's so cute that Jia is that sweet with her sister, I bet they'll be great sisters but more important best friends!!
Ohmygoodness... what precious girls you have! The picture is so sweet, I LOVE the expression on Willa's face. And Jia is quite the big sister, too! A beautiful family indeed :)
