Edible jewelry (made out of chives):
Our kids and the neighbor kids had chive breath all summer!Hitting an awesome splash pad!

Learning to use chopsticks. They are both getting pretty good! Many, many black beans were consumed that day.

Agua Fresca (watermelon, lime, mint, sugar, some water). To say that Jia LOVES this is a major understatement.

Our tree face (we made a face for one of our trees out of clay). She is now "Miss Tree."
I like these shots because it looks like Miss Tree is peeking around the children.

It has been so warm here that it doesn't feel like summer is drawing to a close. In fact, it finally feels like summer weather around here! Hopefully it will last a while yet!

I LOVE that picture of Willa at the splash pad!!! You do some fun things with the girls....I'm envious!! :-)
Great pics! Great ideas as usual! How did you get that to stick to the tree? My kids would love that project! Glad it is still warm there for you:)
Love the chop sticks! Where on earth did you get them! And I can understand why Jia loves that yummy summer drink. I think I will try adding some gin to it and have a party!
Hi ladies! To answer your questions:
For the tree face we used sculpey clay and inserted pieces of wire into the back of each part before we baked them.We then put small nails into the tree to hang them.
For the chop sticks, they were a present and I think the brand was Party People or something like that. Happy shopping!
Fun stuff! That drink looks/sounds delish!
